Yajid Terms of Use
These terms of use (including all other terms, policies, notices, guidelines, and forms referenced herein or otherwise available on the Platform or by hyperlink) ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and mobile applications provided by our company (trading as Yajid, referred to as "Yajid", "we" or "us") (collectively the "Platform"). The "Services" we provide or make available include (a) the Platform, and (b) the services provided by the Platform and/or by Yajid and made available through the Platform. Any new features added to the Services are also subject to these Terms. These Terms govern your use of Services provided by Yajid.
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing and using the Platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the terms set out in the Privacy Policy (accessible via the Platform). If you do not agree with the Terms, please do not access or use the Platform or the Services.
The Platform may be used by (i) natural persons who have reached 18 years of age and (ii) corporate legal entities. Where applicable, these Terms shall be subject to country-specific provisions as set out herein.
Users below the age of 18 must obtain consent from parent(s) or legal guardian(s), who, by accepting these Terms, agree to take responsibility for your actions and any charges associated with your use of the Platform and/or purchase of Goods (as defined below). If you do not have consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s), you must stop using/accessing the Platform immediately.
You agree and acknowledge that, as part of Yajid's policy and/or whenever deemed necessary, Yajid and/or any third party engaged by Yajid may conduct Background Checks on you on an ongoing basis, without further reference or notice to you. "Background Checks" includes, without limitation, government or financial sanctions, civil or criminal litigation activities, and adverse news. If Yajid, in its sole discretion, is not satisfied with the results of the Background Checks, Yajid may terminate your Yajid account and/or use of the Platform.
Yajid reserves the right to change or modify these Terms (including any additional terms and conditions or policies published on the Platform and incorporated into these Terms) at any time. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. You will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms (whether or not reviewed by you) by your continued use of the Platform following the date on which the amended Terms are posted.
All photos and images of the Goods shown on the Platform are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual Goods.
1. About Yajid
1.1 Who We Are
Depending on which Platform you access and use, these Terms form the contract between you and our company (trading as Yajid), operating in UAE.
1.2 What We Do
Through our Platform, Yajid connects you to vendors ("Vendors") to order a variety of goods including prepared meals, catering, beverages, non-prepared food, and miscellaneous non-food items (collectively "Goods") for delivery. When you place an order for Goods from our Vendors ("Order"), Yajid acts as a facilitator on behalf of the Vendor to process and conclude the Order and for either Yajid or the Vendor to deliver your Order to you. Vendors may be operated by third parties, affiliates, or Yajid. Where Vendors are operated by third parties, we are authorized to accept payment and any applicable taxes on their behalf.

2. Use of the Platform and Yajid Account
2.1 Registration
You must register for a Yajid account ("Yajid Account") to use the Platform. Registration requires personal information including full name, valid email, mobile number, and a password ("User's Details"). We may request further documentation to comply with legal obligations. OTPs may be sent via SMS, messaging platforms, or similar apps. You are responsible for keeping your password and OTP confidential. All Orders placed under your account are your responsibility unless fraud occurs without your fault.
2.2 Accuracy of Information
Yajid is not liable for delivery issues caused by incomplete, incorrect, or missing information. You must provide complete, accurate, and truthful information for proper order processing.
2.3 Account Deletion or Suspension
You may request account deletion via email. Yajid may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that:
- Someone else is using your account;
- You engage in conduct violating these Terms, policies, or abusing the Platform; or
- You fail to satisfy ongoing Background Checks.
3. Restrictions
3.1 Prohibited Activities
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Using the Platform unlawfully, fraudulently, or deceptively;
- Posting content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Posting offensive, threatening, abusive, or obscene content;
- Cyberbullying or unsafe behavior;
- Impersonation or unauthorized data collection;
- Disrupting other users' access; and
- Encouraging prohibited activities.
Yajid may investigate, remove content, or suspend user accounts for violations.
4. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, images, and service marks on the Platform or in marketing materials are owned by Yajid or third parties who authorized us ("Trademarks"). You may not use them without prior written consent. Use of Platform content is at your own risk.
5. Restrictions on Goods
5.1 Restricted Goods
Some Goods have age or legal restrictions. By ordering, you confirm compliance with the law.
5.2 Tobacco Products
Purchases are allowed only for statutory age. Yajid, Vendors, and delivery staff may request age verification and refuse delivery if requirements are not met.
6. Orders
6.1 Order Confirmation
Orders are confirmed via email. Prices may include applicable taxes and delivery fees.
6.2 Minimum Order Value
Certain Vendors require a minimum order value ("MOV"). If not met, you may pay the difference or add more Goods.
6.3 Special Instructions
Yajid and Vendors will try to comply, but cannot guarantee all special requests.
6.4 Allergens
Yajid does not guarantee allergen-free Goods. Contact Vendors directly for dietary concerns.
6.5 Vendor Terms
Orders may be subject to additional Vendor terms.
6.6 Placing Orders
You must provide accurate delivery details, confirm information, and complete payment to place an Order.
6.7 Cancelling Orders
Orders may be cancelled via Help Center if not yet accepted by the Vendor.
6.8 Refunds
Refunds are subject to Vendor acceptance and payment method. Yajid may issue refunds to your Yajid account or original payment method.
6.9 Fraudulent Orders
Yajid may cancel Orders or suspend accounts if fraudulent activity is suspected.
7. Prices and Payments
7.1 Currency and Taxes
Prices are in AED and may include applicable taxes.
7.2 Delivery Fees
Fees apply unless Pick-Up is selected or promotions are used.
7.3 Payment Methods
Include online payments (Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay) or Cash-on-Delivery where available.
7.4 Promotional Credits
Promotions, credits, or vouchers may be applied as allowed.
8. Delivery and Pick-Up
8.1 Delivery Areas
Vendors deliver in designated areas. Availability may vary.
8.2 Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates and subject to delays beyond our control.
8.3 Failed Deliveries
Orders may be cancelled without refund if delivery fails due to customer issues.
8.4 Wrong or Defective Orders
Report issues to customer support. Compensation may be offered at Yajid's discretion.
8.5 Pick-Up
Collecting Orders from Vendors is allowed where available. Delays caused by you may result in forfeiture of Goods.
8.6 Vendor Delivery
Vendors delivering directly are solely responsible for the Order. Yajid bears no liability.
9. Vouchers, Discounts, and Promotions
Promotions, vouchers, and gift cards are subject to availability, restrictions, and validity. Yajid may modify, revoke, or void them at any time without notice. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.
10. Representations, Warranties, and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Platform Provided "As-Is"
Yajid does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access.
10.2 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yajid is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
10.3 Vendor Liability
Vendors are responsible for Goods' quality and delivery. Yajid is not liable for Vendor actions or omissions.
11. Vendor Responsibility
Vendors are solely responsible for preparation, quality, and delivery of Goods.
12. Personal Data Protection
Your personal data is processed according to these Terms and Yajid's Privacy Policy.
13. Indemnity
You indemnify Yajid for claims arising from your use of the Platform, Services, or breach of these Terms.
14. Third Party Links
Yajid is not responsible for third-party content linked on the Platform.
15. Termination
Yajid may terminate, suspend, or delete your account at its discretion, including for policy violations or unsatisfactory Background Checks.
16. Amendments
Yajid may amend Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
17. Severability
Invalid provisions do not affect remaining Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of UAE. Disputes are subject to UAE courts.

20. Prevailing Language
In disputes, the English version of these Terms prevails.
21. Groceries / Shops
Purchases from Shops on the Platform are subject to these Terms and any additional Vendor-specific rules. Yajid may limit quantities, and prices may vary based on actual weight.
22. Rider Tip
Optional tips may be given to delivery riders. Tips are refundable only if the Order is cancelled before delivery.
23. On-Demand Delivery (formerly pandago)
Yajid offers delivery of items from pick-up to drop-off locations via riders. Users must provide accurate details and comply with laws. Prohibited items include hazardous, illegal, or restricted goods. Yajid is not liable for loss or damage beyond specified limits.
24. Subscription Services
Subscription services may be offered on the Platform. Users agree to applicable subscription terms.
25. Priority Delivery
Priority Delivery assigns a rider exclusively to your Order. Times are estimates. Yajid is not liable for losses arising from opting into this service. Terms may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
